You'll get invited to our Meetups as soon as they're scheduled!
$2.00 per person
As usual the atmosphere was friendly and amicable at the February meeting. We had lots of new faces again and some return guests. How wonderful it would be if we could double or even triple the amount of people attending the meetings. There is such a variety of professions and businesses available in our group, that there is ALWAYS the possibility of a connection between two or more members.
Starting this month we will be holding 15-20 minute workshops each month after the initial introductions.
We will start off with a skin care class, but I have workshops lines up about the myths, disorganization and challenge of financial planning, workplace communication, how it is never to late for a new beginning, positive psychology, helpful hints on emergency service work for mold water and fire, staying healthy through nuticion, tips for remaining safety at home, marketing/branding/ media pitching, taking a holistic approach to financial planning, LOTS OF SUBJECTS TO COVER.
It is important that I know how many will attend, therefore there is a $2.00 fee for the meetings from now on.
(most months only half of the people who RSVP's show up....)
The first to hold a workshop is a loyal member and a very blubbly and happy person:
ANGELA POPPE
will be doing a skincare class.....and telling us about the importance of using safer, green products.
No, this is not just a ladies only class. The importance of knowing what you use and what enters your body by using it, is important to everyone. This is also NOT a sales talk. The workshops will provide general information. This group is about networking, referrals and NOT about selling to each other. If someone is interested in you, your business or your products, they will contact you. That's why I ask everyone to bring enough business cards!!
Take a look at your day planner and if the evening of March 12 is still not filled up, write down MEETUP right now.
See you on March 12th,
Yvonne Bisk
PS
Bring of stack of your business cards (at least 20-30!!), prepare your 60 second intro about you and your company. let us know what you are passionate about and get to know the other members of the group.
The BrewHaus is a great place to meet. Food and/or drinks can be ordered, but are not obligatory. We always arrive straight from our day jobs, so we tend to have a little bite to eat. The meeting starts with the intro's, we hold a workshop about a certain topic and we always have a RAFFLE with little gifts, plus some E-books to chose from. So, don't run out after the last speaker has told his/her story...
