Your profile on the MeetUP website?

I noticed that lots of people do not take the time to fill out their profile. What a shame. You are missing out on the great networking option MeetUp offers you right there on the website.

It will only cost you a few minutes of you time to write some information about you and your business. How are people going to know what you do when your profile is empty??

Remember that not every member comes to the meetings, but lots of those non-attending members DO check the website regularly. And some of the people that do attend the meetings have no or not enough business cards to hand out. What if someone wants to contact you, but does not remember you name?? A picture makes it easier to recognize you. And even if you only fill out the business information part of the profile, it makes it so much easier for others to contact you.

There are over 300 members in the 3 groups. The Long Island Entrepreneur MeetUP is my baby. I started it in October 2006. WOW time flies. And I adopted StartUP Long Island and Long Island Business Networking along the way. Sometimes even I have a hard time remembering who is who. And I have more contact with you, the members, then any average visitor of the group.

Use the website to its fullest potential and take a few minutes to fill out your profile.
You will have a better chance to make a contact and be contacted that way.
And it will make it easier on my (overloaded) mind also.
