  •  Yup. I'm from NH. Our schools do have good racing programs, but they're not that good. Alpine is very good, but nordic is so-so...especially the jump programs. There's only about 6 schools in the whole state that jump. It's a dying sport in the US. I think by the olympics in 2022, the US will have no competitors.

  •  I do both classical and freestyle, though I currently only own one pair of older classical skis. I just adap and freestyle on the open terrain with the skis I have when I feel like it. I used to race in high school, so I'm cool with either. I've been meaning to buckle down and dish out some loot for a freestyle pair-definitely makes it easier! I used to do nordic jumping too...but unfortunately thats not really a rec. sport >o( I also rollerski in the summer as well as mtn. bike.
