Dear New York Entrepreneurs,

Our first event will be held on October 26th, 2006. This way we can have a healthy number of New York Entrepreneurs coming to network.

The venue of choice is The Time Hotel in Times Square. It is located on 49th Street off Broadway. We will be meeting on the second floor lounge. They do serve beverages and small plate entres.

We are planning on having a guest speaker (soon to be named) one of the managers of the Time Hotel. We will have a quick introduction, and overview of the hotel management business; which is huge in New York City.

Hi Everyone,

Now that I have taken over this Meetup, I have changed the meeting as I have a better space to hold the meeting at. This time, we will be specifically working towards fostering strategic alliances, partnerships, and build new relationships for all attendees!

Everyone will get a chance to introduce themselves to the group. Please bring the answer to these three questions with you:

1. Who is a prime contact, client or customer for you?
2. Who could be a prime partner or strategic alliance for you?
3. Who would be a prime vendor or service provider for you?

After everyone has a chance to introduce themselves and answe these three questions, we will break up into small groups and do some serious networking!

If you want to be part of an effective networking group, this is the one to come to. Please RSVP as soon as possible so we can make sure we have enough room for everyone. See you all there!

We'll meet again at Kettle of Fish, in the West Village. Walk to the back of the bar and turn right, you'll see a group of couches. That should be us.

We'll follow the same (simpler) format of the last meeting.
1. Introduce ourselves
2. Discuss our business plans/ideas.
3. Playtime/freestyle conversation. Feel free to further explore each others' business models, lend advice, etc.

The group at the last meeting was really interesting and diverse, so item #3 went really well. Afterwards, if people want to get some food or something, there's plenty of restaurants in the area.
