Event recap: 5 Pillars to Successful Business

In our session with Brian Scudamore we learned what were actually three main pillars with two sub-pillars:

* Vision

* Sub-pillar: Reverse engineer the future

* People
* Systems

* Sub-pillar: Technology

Of those items, Brian felt that one must have a vision of the future the company's aiming to achieve, he presented to us his vision for the company in 2009 which was distributed to members by e-mail.

Brian emphasized that people don't fail, systems do. If you have a well documented system with an understanding of what you want to achieve, you will always achieve the result you're looking for.

Brian also spoke of the people and how he used the group interview process to get the best candidate for a job. Thus finding him the best people, always.

In closing, Brian alluded to his 515 mentors. A hefty number and it's growing too! The point? You don't know what you get unless you ask.
