Handbags come in various colors, sizes, shapes, and fabrics. However, there are a few essential styles that every woman should include in her handbag collection. The team at Inspr'd Boutique has compiled a list of 6 different handbag styles that should be part of your collection. Whether you are going out for a night on the town, a ball gown affair, or just going to work, there is a handbag style that can fit every occasion!
1. Daytime Clutch

The daytime clutch should be small but not so small that you can't carry anything.The daytime clutch is good for carrying the essentials: credit cards, cash, and idenification cards without having to carry a bag on your should or arm. These usually come in handy when going to a night club (bar or lounge) or going out for a day/night on the town.
2. Evening Clutch

The evening clutch has the same specifications as the daytime. However, this type clutch is better for special occasions such as black tie (ball gown) affairs. Evening clutches that have embellishments with crystals, sequins, or metalic designs are best.
3. Oversized Handbags

This is my personal favorite. The oversized bag is excellent for those who commute to work long distances using public transportation and for those who do not like to carry more than 1 bag. I like to call these commuter bags. This should be large enough to carry whatever you may need while you are away from home for 8 plus hours. However, it should not be so large that it takes over your body. The oversized/commuter bag should have plenty of zippered compartments on the interior and exterior. The bag should also be very durable and can withstand a bit more weight than other bags. .
4. The Hobo Bag

The Hobo style bag come small to large sizes and in various colors and fabrics. Hobo bags come in either a slouchy or structured style and are known for their crescent shape. You choose what style you like best.
5. The Satchel

The Satchel style can be used for just about any occasion. These bags have short handles and are generally carried on the forearm. The satchel you choose should be able work with just about any oufit you wear and should medium sized ( you do not want to carry a large satchel with short handles on your forearm-that can be quite uncomfortable).
6. The Basic Handbag

The basic handbag should be a handbag that you can carry anywhere as well, especially to the office. This bag should not be too flashy and should be small to medium sized and have enough space to carry the essentials. This bag should be neutral in color and have a couple compartments on the inside and outside of the bag to keep your items organized. NOTE: This bag may not work well for those who have long commutes.
