Introduction

I run a popular website, and am quitting my day job to run it full time. Also have plans to launch other websites over time.

Though not required, do you have any relevant technical skills? PHP, MySQL, HTML, .NET, etc...

I'm familiar with PHP, MySQL, basic html/css, and have had to deal with a fair amount of server and scalability issues with my site. So I have some knowledge of linux and apache

Do you have a website? If yes, what is it?

I run MacRumors.com, a popular Apple news and rumor site.

What are you hoping to get out of this meetup?

I'd like to meet others involved in web technology for networking, sharing ideas, technical discussion, etc...
