Introverted Entrepreneurs of the Triangle

Are you in business for yourself, or thinking of getting in business for yourself, but wishing you could just skip the sales part? Do you think that you have to be outgoing to succeed in business? Do you ever feel like the business world is dominated by extraverts? Let's get together and re-define sales and networking as the world knows these terms. Networking should not be about "working the room" or "shmoozing," and selling doesn't have to involve awkward phone calls and approaching strangers. Also, selling doesn't have to be about talking or being the center of attention in the room. I'd like for us on the introverted side of the fence to work at creating a non-competitive environment for all of us. We'll explore new, innovative ways of marketing that we look forward to doing rather than forcing ourselves to do. One last thing....I hope I don't have to tell you how we introverts feel about salespeople coming to events to barf on us about their products and services. If this is what you have in mind, please do it elsewhere.
