This is a group solely devoted to the concept of entrepreneurial start-ups. While marketing and networking are valuable skills, the goal as a member of this Meet Up is to define and overcome the hurdles of an idea so that it can come to fruition. Anyone is welcome. If you don't have a plan or idea but have an interest in working on innovative and possibly groundbreaking ideas, certainly bring your skill-set and enthusiasm. If you do have an idea, come meet others that might be able to fill-in the gaps, shed light on problems and aim you in the right direction. The basic outline for meetings is simple. Present an idea to the group followed by Q&A and then brainstorming. After ideas are presented, the meeting either splits into smaller groups to focus on select ideas or decides collectively to focus on a single promising idea. Suggestive, systematic guidance helps keep the pace of meetings along with preventing long sessions. This is designed to be a secure and nurturing environment for ideas; NDA/CDAs are welcome and a basic oath is used as a sign-in sheet. There are no fees, no commitment, and absolutely no affiliation with any organization or business.
