December marks the one year anniversary of Edge Networking. To commemorate this milestone, we have chosen the theme of 'synergy' for our December event. Synergy is the interaction of two or more forces so that their combined effect is greater than the sum of the individual parts. For the first time ever, we have teamed up with two prominent groups from both the English and French speaking communities: BNI Ville Marie and AEDQ.

BNI is a professional association with over 5,000 chapters worldwide and almost 120,000 members. Its Ville Marie chapter in Montreal count many successful entrepreneurs and business professionals among its membership. 'Affaire et Développement Québécois' (AEDQ) has played an important role in entrepreneurship in Quebec ever since its inception in 1993, bringing together dynamic entrepreneurs from the French speaking community. Together, with Edge Networking, the 3 groups hope to deliver a night of networking to remember. We are expecting a turnout of close to 100 people.

For the first time, we also have several outstanding speakers lined up. The first speaker will be Mr. Herman Alves, former Business Development Director of Telus Quebec. In addition to more than two decades of experience in the telecommunications industry, Herman is a successful entrepreneur and real estate investor. He is also the proud owner of Bitoque, an excellent Portuguese restaurant in Montreal.

The next two speakers are from AEDQ: Mr. Christian Viau and Marc Babin. Christian and Marc have a wealth of experience in business development. Having worked in the field for many years, they will share some of their valuable knowledge on how do develop a successful business.

The event will be held at Cafe Republique, located at 1200 Peel. The cost to attend is $20, which includes a drink as well as catering. Receipts will be mailed to attendees following the event. Don't miss out on a great opportunity to synergize your network!
