I have started a series of workshops for new and existing small business owners. Some workshops are free and other workshops will be fee-based. To learn more about the workshops please visit: www.tsbdg.com/events.html.
Presently, I conduct a FREE weekly workshop held almost every Wednesday morning at 10:30 am-12:00 pm called the SOHO Loan Program.
As small business owners or budding small business owners most of us reach a point when additional working capital is needed to assist with the start up costs or for the expansion of our businesses.
Fortunately, the traditional banks will work with small business owners, HOWEVER, where do you go when the traditional banks say NO.
The Small Business Administration (SBA) has a series of guaranteed-loan programs to assist in the development and growth of small business owners. This micro-loan program allows newly formed businesses and expanding business to apply for $5,000; $10,000; $15,000; $20,000; $25,000. If you have been in business for more than 2 years you could apply for $35,000 or $50,000.
The SOHO loan was implemented by the SBA in the 1990s to address the needs of the "too new", "credit scores slightly too low", "no collateral", "DTI ratio too high" business owners who have difficulties qualifying for traditional business bank loans.
The SOHO loan is by far the easiest business loan a new or expanding business owner will EVER apply for.
The loan is based on a 7-year payment plan. There are no penalties for prepayment. No collateral is required. No business plan is required. The credit decision is based on your EXPERIAN credit report and if you had a prior Bankruptcy you could still qualify for the loan if you have your discharge papers.
There are a few disqualifiers: presently on parole, recent delinquencies or you have defaulted on a student loan.
The loan process normally takes 4-6 weeks.
Since the workshop is held weekly, I am restricting the attendee list to 10 per week.
Please do not RVSP to attend if you don't intend to show up.
This workshop notice will be posted on a weekly bases and I will keep you apprise of my evening workshops as well.
