Willing and Able to Help with Venture Capital Financing

Hi Everyone. I am very interested in sustainable development issues and I'd like to participate in future events with this group. I believe we're on the brink of a new era in terms of environmental awareness and I believe small businesses will both lead the revolution and benefit the most from it financially. And what's better than improving the world while making money at the same time???

Although my talent is not inventions, I believe I may be able to make a contribution to this group in the financing arena. I work for a CPA firm that, among (many) other things, works with start-ups of all kinds. We assist with full representation from developing and writing the business plan to structuring the deal to attract investors and then accessing our network of angel investors and venture capital funds to directly obtain financing. We then assist with closing the deal once appropriate investor(s) have been secured.

So I'll bet there's a way I can help some of you guys out there if you have viable concepts. And I would love to help. My boyfriend is the designer in our home and is constantly coming up with new ideas. So I think Scott can contribute to the group more in that arena with his industrial design / engineering background. And hopefully I can help out on the money side of things. We have lots of fun bouncing ideas around and would be happy to join you guys and share some of our thoughts and hear yours.

Also, I'm working on starting a community garden in east Ft. Lauderdale if anyone is into growing things (near Las Olas & A1A).
